Printer ink. It's a hot commodity in today's computer age, where everyone from a company president to a 5-year-old elementary school student is burning through ink cartridges in rapid fashion.
And the cost of replacing those empty cartridges can be more than the printers themselves.
That's where an emerging group of retailers — from big office-supply chains to mom-and-pops — comes in, offering a way to soften the sticker shock of ink and toner. These stores are popping up around Palm Beach County and nationwide, refilling those pricey cartridges for about half the cost of buying new."
