Let's do the math. I paid $18 for a replacement ink cartridge for my printer. Although I'm metrically impaired, I calculated that the 5 milliliters of ink equals just over one-sixth of an ounce.

I'm paying $13,632 a gallon for ink!

Plus, now I have a big-time trust issue with my computer. While using the new cartridge to print 57 pages, I took a bathroom break. Upon returning, there was a terrifying screen on my computer: ''Warning! Low on ink! Replace now! And we really mean it!"
