If your needs are similar, consider a battery-operated portable printer. At present, HP is the only known manufacturer selling these printers in India. The HP Deskjet 450cbi (featured here) retails at about Rs 15,000. This inkjet printer can generate colour as well as black and white prints, at a resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dots per inch (dpi), which is much better than the 600 x 600 dpi that normal inkjet printers give. It weighs 2.8 kg."
